Our commitment to you is one of continuing education. You will gain experience on dozens of treatments including implant placement and restoration, CAD-CAM scanning, obstructive sleep apnea, Invisalign, bone grafting, and cosmetic dentistry.
This particular position offers a lot of flexibility for available working days. We are looking for a candidate willing to commit to two days in the office every week who will consider more days in the future based off patient needs and candidate availability.
We have an immediate opening for a registered hygienist. You will work with Dr. Ryan O’Malley and be responsible for the following:
- Provide direct-patient, preventive dental care which includes cleaning and polishing, scaling and root planing, examining patients for signs of oral diseases, and educating patients on ways to improve and maintain good oral health.
- Prepare patient for dental treatment and assist in patient education regarding oral hygiene and dental concerns.
- Address laboratory issues/concerns, ensure cleanliness of treatment and sterilization areas.
- Document dental services by recording vital signs and medical and dental histories including charting in patient records.
- Serve as an infection control officer, implement infection control protocol and prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Participate in required training sessions, attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and participate in professional societies.
*Candidate must be local anesthesia certified and be experienced in periodontal therapy procedures.*
